On behalf of our school family, I am proud to welcome you to Sacred Heart RC Primary School.
I am Mrs. J. Botham, the Headteacher of Sacred Heart RC Primary School, and I am delighted that you have taken the time to learn more about our wonderful school.

Rooted in our mission to serve the common good and to respect the rights and dignity of every human person, at Sacred Heart we believe that ‘every heart is sacred’. We are part of a vibrant and dynamic community in Gorton, East Manchester, where we witness God’s love through our actions: inspiring hope, nurturing love, and caring for our Common Home. Together, we strive to serve one another peacefully, joyfully, and truthfully, ensuring that everyone is able to live life ‘to the full’.

At Sacred Heart, we offer a happy, nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential, academically, socially, and spiritually. With a rich and engaging curriculum grounded in the roots of our Catholic faith, we provide a broad range of opportunities to inspire learning and personal growth. From exciting classroom activities to trips, parish events, and community projects, we are committed to ensuring every child’s unique talents are celebrated and developed.
