Safeguarding
At Sacred Heart School, we aim to create and maintain a safe learning environment where all children and adults feel safe, secure and valued and know they will be listened to and taken seriously. We ensure that all adults in our school, including regular staff, supply staff, volunteers and visitors, are working together to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and to identify and address any safeguarding concerns and to ensure consistent good practice.
The Designated Safeguarding Leaders at Sacred Heart are Suzanne Walker and Jo Botham, the Co Headteachers and David Wilson, the Deputy Headteacher. The Designated Safeguarding Leaders have a specific responsibility for championing the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
