A group of our parents are currently taking part in the Families Connect Programme. They have enjoyed the activities provided so far and have had the opportunity to share these activities with their children during the sessions. This is an 8 week course where the parents are introduced to games and activities that will support their child’s learning at the same time as being fun.
Families connect is unique in that it focuses on three key areas
- Social and emotional development
- Literacy and language development
- Numeracy and mathematics.
The families connect course is aimed at supporting children aged between 4-6 years old. It is a play based program with no curriculum content. The content of this course was designed by experts who have contributed to our national curriculum.
