Sacred Heart football team played in a tournament at Manchester City’s training complex on Friday 20th May. They came second in their group after losing 1 match and winning 2 matches. They then progressed through to the final by winning 3-0 and 1-0. Unfortunately, we lost in the final on penalties after the game was tied at 1-1 at full time. Although the children were disappointed with the final, they had a great day and have memories which will last a lifetime. They even got the opportunity to meet some of their heroes such as Kevin de Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus.
