What a wonderful Science Week we’ve had this year! We’ve designed and investigated spaghetti bridges, boats, lava lamps, parachutes, marshmallow bridges, slime and scribble bots!!!
The children in the Early Years have been learning all about growing and watched as their eggs hatched. Many of the children helped to care for the chicks and were very brave when holding them.
Our Science Boffin, Harry, shared some amazing science with us and our very special visitor, Tunji Akintokun MBE inspired us all to think about becoming scientists of the future. Tunji also talked about some amazing scientists that we can learn so much from including, Professor Brian Cox, Maggie Aderin-Pocock, Katherine Johnson and Mae Jemison. It’s all about the Attitude, Aptitude and Altitude!!
Thank you to the parents involved in the Science Family Challenge and congratulations to Chloe and Alice’s family for winning the boat challenge.
