Sacred Heart celebrated science week in March along with many other schools across the country. Here are just a few photos to show what each class got up to. Lots of classes enjoyed making slime, trying out new experiments and observing and handling reptiles. The nursery and reception class even had the opportunity to observe and look after 10 chicks whilst they hatched from their shells.

Well done to all of the teams that participated in the family challenge afternoon! Each team had to try and build the tallest tower using cocktail sticks and marshmellows in only ten minutes. This is not an easy task. Congratulations to the ‘Great Guys’ who were the winners of the competition. Fun was had by all and the children especially enjoyed eating the marshmellows at the end.
